The Savignac Education Consulting department puts all its expertise and know-how at the service of organizations wishing to develop teaching programs, courses or schools specializing in the hotel, catering and tourism industries.
Savignac Education Consulting supports educational groups, institutional players and private investors in the creation or development of specialized schools for the HTR sector.
In 2015,Ecole de Savignac relocated its Bachelor's program to Senegal to support the development of hotel groups with a growing presence in East and West Africa and to meet their human resources needs.
Thelma was born of a partnership between BEM DAKAR, the leading French-speaking business school in sub-Saharan Africa, andÉcole de Savignac. Today, Thelma is the market leader for specialized schools in Africa. It offers the Savignac Bachelor's degree. The program is based on the structure of the Savignac Bachelor's degree, with a few adaptations to suit the particularities of the African market. This partnership enables Thelma students to obtain an accredited Savignac diploma (Bac +3) and to pursue an MBA in France, at Savignac in particular, if they so wish.
Savignac provides both face-to-face and remote support and monitoring, to ensure the required level of academic quality.
It also makes its expertise available to higher education establishments (particularly management schools) for thedevelopment of specialized courses in the hotel, catering and tourism sectors.
TBS used to offer a Bachelor's degree in management for functions as diverse as marketing, management, sales and export. Starting in the second year, the group decided to create a number of specialization courses, including the Hospitality Management program, co-created withEcole de Savignac. This program opened in 2011 and closed in 2014.
The Bachelor's degree has been recognized worldwide thanks to the EQUIS and AACSB international accreditations. It was also voted top Bachelor's degree in France by Eduniversal,4th by Figaro.fr and1st by the Orientations website.
Finally, it proposes to delocalize its diplomas internationally , in partnership with schools recognized for their academic quality and their contribution to the development of the local economy.
This activity also enables us to contribute to the development of emerging countries by supporting training projects for local populations.
It also guarantees our professional partners - international hotel and restaurant groups - the recruitment of local managers who are well-versed in management techniques, familiar with international standards, and who embody local values and cultures.
TheEcole de Savignac signed a partnership agreement on October 27, 2018 in Grand-Bassam (Côte d'Ivoire) with the Ecole Hôtelière de Grand-Bassam, in the presence of Germain Ollo, Senator and CEO of the Fedel Group.
This agreement will enable the Ecole hôtelière de Grand-Bassam to offer Savignac's Bachelor's program in Hotel and Restaurant Management, benefiting from the academic excellence and reputation ofEcole de Savignac, already a leader in its country.
The cooperation ofEcole de Savignac will support the training needs of the hotel industry in a region of the world that is seeing steady growth in this sector (number of visits up 12.7% between 2016 and 2017).
This initiative was encouraged by the Ivory Coast's Ministry of Higher Education and Research and Ministry of Tourism (both strongly represented at the signing ceremony) and the French Embassy, which supports this fine example of Franco-Ivoirian collaboration.
Savignac Education Consulting's projects are tailor-made and totally adapted to the objectives and particularities of our future partners. They systematically take into account the political, economic and social realities of the country where the project will be implemented.
01. Analysis phase
Savignac Ingénierie begins by analyzing the documents submitted by the future partner, in order to get a feel for the project and list the elements that need to be gathered to optimize the visit by Savignac Conseil consultants, which is the next stage.
02. Site visit
Savignac Ingénierie then makes a visit to meet the project leaders and, if the structure already exists, to visit the School's site. During this visit, Savignac consultants analyze the future partner's objectives, its academic program(s), and assess the existing infrastructure. They also take advantage of their presence on site to meet all the players likely to be associated with the project: institutional players, academic or professional partners, public or private investors, etc.
03. Training engineering and pedagogy
Following this visit, Savignac Ingénierie will begin a training engineering project to design the educational concept best suited to our partner's constraints, challenges and objectives.
Once the educational concept has been validated, Savignac Education Consulting may, at its partner's request, carry out pedagogical engineering work to develop teaching programs consistent with the chosen concept, and participate in the recruitment and training of program leaders.
04. Quality control and certification
Certification will validate the conformity of the teaching provided to the targeted standards.
