From its beginnings in 1988 to its current expansion, our school has combined its heritage with a vision resolutely focused on innovation and excellence. Explore the journey that has led us to become a benchmark in hospitality education.
In 1986, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry decided to create a hotel and catering college in the Dordogne. It was a natural progression for a region renowned for its gastronomy and wealth of tourist attractions. The aim was to train a new generation of managers to meet the needs of a dynamic sector.
The company bought the Hotel-Restaurant "Le Parc" in Savignac-les-Eglises, an internationally renowned establishment distinguished by the greatest guides and run by the famous chef Jean VESSAT, to set up its future school. The school opened its doors in 1988, welcoming its first class for its unique MBA program.
Savignac rapidly pursued its path to excellence: in 1996, the French government officially recognized the quality of its teaching by certifying its MBA title at level II; in 2004, the School opened a new all-English post-bac course, the Foundation Degree, in partnership with the English college of Stratford-upon-Avon and the University of West London; then a bac +3 in 2006, to train Bac +2 graduates.
Its expansion continued with the creation of bachelor's degree specializations, the development of its continuing professional education offering (in-company training and assessment center) and the opening of franchises abroad (Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast).
