The ECTS points system (European Credit Transfer System) was developed by the European Union to make it easier to read and compare study programs in different European countries. ECTS credits are a complementary tool to the diploma to facilitate student mobility, from one country to another (Erasmus+ program) or from one institution to another.
ECTS credits are accumulated each semester and are calculated according to workload. They take into account lectures, practical work, seminars, internships, research, personal work, exams, training objectives and skills to be acquired.
The Erasmus+ program promotes mobility in Europe and abroad for students (semester of study or work placement), teaching staff and all staff of higher education establishments.
In 2014,École de Savignac was integrated into the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education. This charter enables accredited institutions to develop international mobility and cooperation projects under the Erasmus+ scheme.
