To help you finance your stay abroad, various forms of international mobility assistance are available. It should be emphasized, however, that these grants are intended to provide support and generally do not cover the entire cost of your stay.
The European Commission's Erasmus+ program aims to stimulate student mobility between European partner universities linked by an Erasmus agreement. Its aim is to promote academic exchanges at Savignac's partner universities, as well as internships in countries participating in the program. Erasmus+ scholarships are co-administered by the International Development Department and the Aquimob platform.
The 27 countries of the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, SwedenAlso: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, Northern Macedonia, Serbia
The Nouvelle-Aquitaine region offers financial assistance to students throughout their academic career, including up to MBA level. This assistance can be used for any mobility, whether for internships or studies, and is determined according to the student's tax household income. An award committee evaluates the allocation of grants according to specific criteria such as the student's social status, academic achievements and the duration of the mobility programs. This aid is available to all students, whether or not they have a grant, and for all destinations.
Students can take part in several international exchanges as a student or trainee. However, the total time spent abroad, including periods of study abroad, may not exceed 12 months in a study cycle defined by the EQF (European Qualifications Framework). The term "cycle" refers to the level of education, which is classified either as a first cycle (equivalent to a bachelor's degree) EQF 5/6, or as a second cycle (equivalent to a master's degree) EQF 7.
N.b.
Students with Crous grants retain the benefit of their scholarship during their mobility abroad. Mobility grants offered by the New Aquitaine Region cannot be combined with Erasmus+ grants.
To apply for financial aid, you must submit a project via the Aquimob platform and send the signed application with all supporting documents by e-mail to the international office before the start of your mobility period, respecting the deadlines.
Only one grant can be awarded for a given mobility period. It is strictly impossible to combine Erasmus+ and Regional Council grants.
Applying for a grant does not guarantee that it will be awarded. An internal allocation committee meets to award grants according to the allocation criteria for each specific grant (student socio-economic status, merit, mobility programs, duration).
Students are responsible for entering their mobility dates on Aquimob. Please be as accurate as possible: your grant will not be reconsidered if incorrect mobility dates have been entered at the time of application.
All applications not completed within 2 months of submission via Aquimob (for mobility periods of more than 4 months) or within 15 days (for mobility periods of less than 4 months) will not be considered by the grant committee.
Immigration formalities depend on the duration of your studies or internship and your destination country.

Countries outside the EU (but within the European region): a passport is sufficient for stays of less than 3 months. For stays of over 6 months, a visa is often required.
