FAQ

What kind of training is offered through Parcoursup?
  1. École de Savignac offers a sandwich course starting in the first year of the Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management (Bac +3). This curriculum combines academic teaching with in-company immersion to prepare students to become operational managers. This first year is delivered in two formats: initial (student status, full-time schedule, in-company internship) and alternance (apprentice status, alternating schedule, in-company work contract). Only the alternance format is offered on Parcoursup.
How do I apply?

Applications for the Bachelor Année 1 en Alternance are made exclusively via the Parcoursup platform. Applicants must follow the official timetable:
- December 18, 2024: Opening of the platform
- From January 15, 2025: Start of the wish submission phase
- From March 15, 2025: Start of the response phase.

Unlike initial training courses, students can still make wishes for apprenticeship courses after March 13, 2025. Responses from theÉcole de Savignac will be sent from March 14, as applications are received.

Positive responses indicate that the candidate has been selected, but final enrolment is conditional on signing an apprenticeship contract with an employer.

How many work-study places are available in 1st year?
  1. Places are very limited: just a dozen or so.
  2. That's why we recommend that candidates start their company search as soon as possible, because the first to arrive with a contract will be the first to register.
What is the work-study schedule?
  1. The work-study schedule evolves throughout the 3-year program,
      1. to enable progressive learning of autonomy, interpersonal skills and competencies.
In 1st year, learners are more present on campus, because they have little experience and need to be accompanied as they take up their positions. They then become more autonomous until 3rd year.
  1. Year 1: 1 month at school in September, 1 month at the company in October, followed by 2 weeks at school and 3 weeks at the company. From May onwards, full immersion in the company.
  2. Year 2: 2 full-time periods, consisting of 3 to 4 months of classes at school, and 6 to 7 months on the job.
  3. Year 3: 1 to 2 weeks at school and 3 weeks on the job.
